  • Deliver Castrol sales targets as agreed for the designated territory.
  • Develop & manage sales plan to deliver sales targets.
  • Review with Distribution manager on monthly basis.
  • Ensure that business in run in accordance to the Castrol guidelines & agreed framework.
  • Be accountable for the reporting of KPIs in set formats to the relevant personnel in Castrol.
  • Conduct PIR sessions with distribution manager at each quarter to ensure healthy business track.
  • Ensure minimum to no distribution gaps in selected customer category.
  • Develop & maintain good working relations with the distribution staff.
  • Allign objectives with them to achieve a common target.
  • Be a part of the recruitment process of distribution staff & ensure compliance to Castrol standards.
  • Continuously monitor & train distribution staff in accordance to the Castrol standards.
  • Ensure minimum stock levels, range & SKU availability at the distribution floor.
  • Ensure that the warehouse operations & layout is as per the HSSE guidelines.
  • Provide training & ensure compliance to leakage & spills at warehouse.
  • Ensure compliance to the product handling guidelines.
  • Ensure that the conditions & operations of vans are as per HSSE guidelines.
  • Develop & modify routes on continuous basis.
  • Ensure maximum vehicle utilisation.
  • Responsible for the monitoring & back checking of sales activities in the market place.
  • Consistantly work on improving the retail ratio in the sales mix.
  • Be a part of the customer categorisation exercise.
  • Develop good understanding of the trade channels.
  • Develop reports with key customers & prospects.
  • Develop a data base of Key prospects in the territory & track progress.
  • Take personal responsibility of all the customer complaints & complete the loop by closing.
  • Ensure that Castrol merchandising standards are implemented at the selected trade.
  • Ensure that all trade communications are effectively delivered in the specified time. Ensure effective timely roll out of all trade promotions.
  • Ensure maximum trade participation in the promotions.
  • Provide market feedback to the management on regular basis.
  • Ensure that all relevant HSSE guidelines are followed.
  • Conduct business in accordance to BPs code of conduct.
